Excellent Cadaver

Formed in April 2008, Excellent Cadaver are a 5 piece metal band from Dundee, Scotland. They play a blend of thrash and groove metal which has been described as a sound of "hurricane like force hurtling towards you at 100mph" by Dead Earnest Promotions. Drawing influences from thrash acts like Kreator and Sylosis, as well as more melodic contemporaries like Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium and heavyweight acts like Chimaira, the band have a balanced and varied sound.

Shortly after forming the band played a prestigious support slot in their home town with metal legends Trivium, and ranked first in a battle of the bands styled competition across eastern Scotland. 2009 cemented the bands place and Dundees premier metal act, until later in the year, lineup issues took their toll for the first time since the bands inception.

Currently, the lineup has been returned to full strength and the band are looking to take the UK, nay, the world by storm this year. There will be new tracks recorded to complete their first full length, hopefully available summer 2010, although presently they have a 7 track EP, "The Powerthirst EP" available.
