I Am The Tiger

I AM THE TIGER is a mix of hard rock and noisy hardcore; the band gets inspiration from its members' assorted listenings (such as Everytime I die, Converge, Motörhead, The Bronx, The Hives, Smackdown, Sex Position, AC/DC, etc).

Rising up in Rome, in the spring of 2006, they recorded their first demo, along with the significant aid of Alex & Gomez, from "Hell Smell" Studio (http://www.myspace.com/hellsmell).

Getting through several line-up changes, they find the perfect one, made up of: Donni / vocals, Marcello (ex-Jet Market) / guitars , Riccardo / drums, Sacha (Doomsday) / bass.

Since the first gigs, the band shows up with a solid and direct stage impact, having tons of people present and good feedback from the critics. Live performance actually, finds out to be the most intense and vivid factor characterizing the band, which overpoweringly goes along with its flow and attitude!

So far, I am the Tiger has been playing several festivals and concerts around Italy, as well as in the most popular clubs in Rome (such as Traffic, Sinister Noise) getting constant good feedback and performing with other bands such as Horse the Band (USA), Off Minor (USA), Awaken Demons (ex-Sentence), Slaiver,  The Death of Anna Karina, Angelica Mariner, Frontiera (ex-Kina), Sugartown Cabaret (FRA), and many others.

In May of 2008 their debut album, “Your girlfriend calls me baby”, came out with an international co-release (Italy, France, Bulgaria and Argentina), distributed in UK, Sweden, Mexico, Malaysia and Philippines. It got an excellent review on: www.novamuzique.net/recensione. aspx?id=491

Their songs are nowadays playing on the frequencies of Radio Città Aperta (www.radiocittaperta.it) and got through the streaming radios www.broadcastitalia.it and www.myspace.com/fadeoutwhitenoise
